Hey, thank you Chisoxfan for your insightful thoughts on my two favorite towns! Unfortunately you didn't make it any easier to make my decision! I prefer mountains to waterfalls, I like cool weather and don't mind a colder climate. I love Waynesville's Main St. but I prefer a more out of the way location such as Brevard. Decisions decisions.
For me it will probably, like many come down to practicality of job and housing market. But I agree with you, I believe I could live happily in both towns!

I am constantly checking out the housing market for both areas on realtor.com and also the job market. I'm a nurse and I like the idea of Brevard having a hospital right in town however I am a relatively new nurse with just one year experience. I haven't seen too many job openings at the hospital in Brevard. I don't want a long commute. . .

But thanks again, and any other tips you can offer are appreciated!
