I also bought a house in Weirton to retire to. We have not retired yet and we have gone there to work on the place a few times in the year since we bought it, In fact leaving next weekend and planning to spend Christmas there.
What is it you want to know? The people there are very friendly and everything you need is close by. Good medical care available to and cost of living is low. It is an old steel town so has Ghostly skeletons of Steel mills, but they are working on revitilizing the town. Super 8 the movie was filmed there last year.
