Wegmans only goes as far south as Virginia, I highly doubt they will ever reach any further south...I have shopped at The Fresh Market before, when it opened it was super busy but after Whole Foods came in the crowds diminished, I am even surprised they are still in business...when I stop in there occasionally it's quite empty.

Yeah. Sure.

That's why Trader Joe's started with one location and are now apparently aggressively expanding.

Wegman's isn't coming here, it's too far south. If you want Wegmans, move somewhere there's a Wegmans. Jesus H. Christ.

Due to finances, right now, my shopping is at Aldi's and Walmart. Once a month I am at Whole Foods. I also go to Farmer Green's Produce Market when I can.

I know after I move, I will have to shop differently and will learn about the stores there. There will not be a Aldi's (I can deal with that), and I'm not sure about Whole Foods. I do know Walmart and Trader Joe's are there. That's all I know so far.

Aldi has lot of processed, very cheap junk food. Mostly we buy canned food from there once in a while. We don't like how many of the food tastes there under Aldi brand.

We usually shop at Walmart and Sam's Club.

I get my frozen veggies, canned veggies, and meat there. They also have really good vegetable broth that is low in sodium for me.

You are right, lots of over-processed foods. I gave up on Sam's Club because the one we have is in a dangerous area and the store itself has armed guards now all over. Some days, I feel this town is turning into a police state.
