Are there any single family home gated communites with reasonable HOAs, i.e. less than $1200 per year.

We don't play tennis or golf and don't want to have pay to support those facilities we don't use. Prefer to be with a mixed age group--- not an over 55 crowd.

Minimum lot size of 15,000sq feet a requirement, with a minimum house size of 2200 sq ft---doesn't need to be near the water. No Chinese drywall or bad windows need apply.........

Some communities HOA includes some services you might want like security, cable, and water so make sure you are comparing apples to apples. I don't know of any HOA communities that would have fees that low in Jupiter/PBG. Would you consider non-HOA communities?

One of the cheapest HOA fee's my wife and I found, in new construction, was in Stuart-Tres Belle-Kolter Homes, at $183 a month...the homes are gonna cost you...I am sure $400k plus the price of the lot...but no pool..no tennis...no community center...

Egret landing is 1300 a year but it's not gated, and most of the lots aren't that big. Having the gate and being under $100 a month with large lots is going to be very tough to find. The majority of the gated communities have amenities along with the gate which brings up the dues.
Horseshoe Acres has acre lots and the dues are like $400 a year and it's gated that's really all I can think of that would have everything.

Default Low HOA in Jupiter

It's the security gate/guard that seems to require an HOA. Not being there all the time, we think that's a requirement...lot size could be a bit smaller but no smaller than 14,000 ortherwise you can hear the neighbors sneeze....and other stuff. We just rented a house for a month on a 10,000 sq ft lot--and would have bought the house if were not for the small lot...
