Oh ok. I was just saying because you can get a good car for like £3000. I'm starting lessons on thursday. But I am not getting a car because I can't afford it and its such a waste of my money. You need to be rich at this age.

Why not? If it runs great, why junk it? My car is from 2002. Unless it gets wrecked by a drunk driver or a bimbo talking on her cell phone, I'm planning on keeping it for about another 5. I spent $1400 on getting a second engine installed in it, I better get another 5 years out of this baby

Well idk. My mum has audi a4 but it keeps breaking down. I think the newer cars break down more.

You see I wanna travel alot so I was thinking of just getting a new car but like nothing expensive. Because what is the point. Like we have had some pretty expensive cars and tbh they are not much better than the normal cars inside. And who is gunna be driving at 160mph??

Problem with European cars is that they often break down. European makes are known for their horrible reliability, American cars are middle of the road (though I don't know over there since a lot of American makes are built in Europe, I think?), and Japanese cars the best. I'm not well versed on how reliable the car market is there, but Ford seems to be the most popular, if not one of the most popular brands over there. Maybe that counts for something

It's the same here. Super high temps and not one peep of a storm. But, our heatwave is being caused by a stubborn high pressure cell stalled over the Northeast, meaning no storm activity. Hopefully we'll get a cold front down here soon that will bring the massive rain and storms

just like here the high pressure is rite over us. I'm sure if the high pressure moved further north slightly we'd be in for some big ones.

We have high pressure dominating most of the country right now

It's great in the winter time. Blows the clouds away. But in the summer, it brings the massive heat with it

Ridiculous

We've only had one or two storms lately and they weren't even that great.

Thank goodness most people here have A/C. I would definitely invest in a box fan or something if I were you.

High pressure is to our north and no tstorm whatsoever since June here. What we both need is a Spanish plume with an upper low sitting in the gulf of Biscay.
