Not quite, compare Niagara Falls, NY with Niagara Falls, ON across the border. One is in good shape, another is a decayed industrial city. Also no history of segregation and white flight that affected even northern cities. No "chocolate cities" up in Canada:

I loved monsoon in Chennai . The onset of monsoon rains in chennai starts as a hot 40 C afternoon, followed by heavy winds and amazingly dark clouds around 4 PM. Then come sudden drenching downpours around 5-7 PM. Finally, the first "cool" night (around 65 F for a low) in months arrives. Here is a pic of how it looks at 4:30 PM after the clouds take over:

I had a dream I lived in Florida last night. Awesome. What a disappointment to wake up finding I actually live in Buxton.

Yea i'd love to live in Florida but theres parts of Florida that are just a complete dump.

Like the inland portions, for example.

Florida would be way too much of a culture shock for you...especially down by Miami.
