I've had a strong gut feeling, for a while now, that we'll have a very sunny, mild February, and a very early start to nice dry, warm spring weather.

Rollercoaster winter continues...above freezing tomorrow then back to deep freeze on Monday
then back above freezing by end of the week!

I heard it could be -7F / -21C by the 4th quarter of the Packers game. Now that my Eagles are out, go Packers!

I'm impressed that they still play NFL in snowy conditions and crazy cold like that - they are much more cautious about playing football/rugby in bad winter weather here, and we don't get anything like as cold. Do major stadiums in the colder areas commonly have undersoil heating or retractable roofs?

Not Green Bay, that's about the most barebones stadium in the league.

It's 5 F/-15 C with a windchill of -9 F/-23 C in Green Bay. Forecast low of -17 F/-27 C tonight. Of course the game will be over well before that, but it will probably drop below 0 F/-18 C before the end of the game.
