I think MD's climate is very similar to Kentucky......4 seasons but they are divided equally. In fact, most of MD probably has longer summer than they do winters.
Winter: Dec - March
Spring: April - May
Summer: June - August
Fall: Sept. - Nov.
It varies March could be nice and springlike some years, Nov. could go with Dec. sometimes for winter, June might go for Spring because it really isn't warm like summer, etc. The way I see it, definitely isn't an even 25% per season, and all bets are off alot because of the lake.
winter: November-April range minus 20 to 55
spring - hardly any spring - april-may weather 55-75
summer june- first half september - 70-95
autumn - last half sept - last week in Oct. - 78-30
