Tons of rain last nite at 4" + but never near me. It is so hot and nasty we had summer T storms 50 miles ENE of me thanks to 90's and dew points over 75f. Always inland and the east coast and never on the gulf.

Looks like 90's thru next week inland and rain to the northwest of me. Lucky LA may get 6" as they always get more rain.

Saturday 18th Nor'Easter?

GFS, Euro, and German agree on a big NorEaster/Extra Tropical Low next weekend. Canadian is lost on what to do with things.

A deep upper trough with a surface low/cold front swings into the northeast on Friday while a storm develops out of the Gulf and slides up the East Coast

Inside the trough is below freezing airmass but none of the models are indicating snow right now. The 540 thickness line stays too far west of the precip

Very mild week

Big storm going to cross the country for Thanksgiving

As the storm progresses east it will allow for much colder air to flood the country

GFS is even more bullish on the cold especially West and up in British Columbia but then it pushes east by the end of the 15 day period

That was actually the leading edge of the cold air dam over Georgia interacting with the hot humid air over Central Florida. I'm guessing the front didn't make it down to your area? I know areas from Jax northwards cooled off quite a bit this morning down to 15 C/59 F.

It was a tiny bit cooler today at 84f and a dews were around 73. Just can't get rain anywhere near me. This has to be a curse put on my area this year.

Speaking of the Canadian. Here is what it's ensembles are showing in temps going from a torch pattern to an ice box. Probably overdone. But you never know.
