Extremely warm temperatures relative to average across large areas of Canada and the northern US for the next several weeks. Low temperatures will be at least 15-20F above average.

September has been warm, mostly sunny and mostly rain-free so far in most of Germany. I've had windows open in my apartment nearly every day, and several tipped open at night. Afternoon temps today were around 21C/70F, with tomorrow (vernal equinox) forecast to be a few degrees warmer.

Recent Atlantic storms have cooled the SST off the US coast dramatically

Euro torching us for the end of September and start of October with a negative PNA out West. The GEFS is basically identical to the Euro right now over the next 2 weeks

Currently as of the 19th ORD is at +0.7F while Midway is -1.4F. Strange how the two airports have a 2.1F difference in Mean temps this month and are just 12 miles apart. Down here about 40 miles south of Midway, IKK is at -1.7F in temp anomalies though it is likely that we will end up at or above average for the month given the forecast.

Sounds good - yesterday it got all the way down to 36F, so I'll be happy with no threat of frost for the next couple weeks.

Average lows here would be mid-upper 40s for late September, I don't really see it being that much above average (ie 60s) - the forecast currently calls for lows averaging about 5F above normal - upper 40s to mid-upper 50s.

That developing subtropical low east of the Carolinas will be ushering in some nice fall air down here in GA. Looking forward to those consecutive sub 60 F lows this weekend into next week

Extreme warm anomaly continues in Canada, probably will be a recurring theme with El Nino exerting stronger control of the pattern in the upcoming Fall and Winter.
