You guys probably hate me posting all these forecast maps, but it's fascinating how the CFSv2 is starting to see a pattern change come mid November

Looks like we'll finally see some freezes east of the 100th meridian this week, but just in North Dakota, northern Minnesota, and parts of the UP of Michigan. Minneapolis could miss it and Caribou, Maine, which normally sees its first freeze around Sept 20, is still waiting.

In other words, very little freeze potential south of I-80, and above average temperatures most of the time for the next month. Got it.

2pm mostly sunny 70 degrees here and at ORD, while Midway is up to 72F.

Maybe upper 70s or even 80 degrees next week?

Wow, while you're in the 70s the main thing I see on those maps is nuclear Armageddon off the coast of Washington State...

Weather is dead and will be dry until late June with a super warm and dry winter and spring. A boil up in the stair steps south of Cuba but La Nina has kept it from doing anything. Way too much shear.
