About an inch and a half of much needed rain for our yard yesterday over several waves. Today should be dry but the forecast is calling for another 2-3 inches of rain over the weekend. Northern Indiana has seen flooding. Southern Indiana has seen flooding. Even the south side of Indianapolis has gotten some heavy rain lately. But until yesterday it's almost all missed us on the north side.

Heavy rain coming for my backyard, wouldn't be surprised to see 2-4'' of rain in the next 5-7 days or much greater amounts. Humidity will be extremely bad. No watering things will mean a very low water bill for the rest of the month most likely.

Tropical Storm off the coast. Really? lolol Long Island sound is as calm and cool as a cucumber.

Speaking of garden.......... When it was raining heavy this was happening. Clay soil. Once the rain let up, it drained down and no more flooding.

110 at the airport
4pm
Doesn't feel that bad because of humidity and wind.
Grid looks to be safe this weekend in California
Looks like it'll peak at 114f on Sunday, but 115 isn't out of the question. I won't know how it'll feel, tho, cause I'll be gone

And yet another Thunderstorm here. Would be nice to go a day without one this month. More rain! Tomato plants gonna turn yellow. Approaching 9 inches for the month now.

Unsettled and below average temps at least until Tuesday

longer range models don't show much in the way of any heat here through July and into early August

What a joke. Check out the 3 consecutive runs on the GEFS and how different the week 2 forecast is. I can guarantee you that the 18z run with the upper 90s will not happen.

The 06Z was just upload LMAO now we're back to the low 70s by the end of week 2

Haven't had any measurable rain in a few weeks here, but are supposed to get some thunderstorms tonight. High 85f, low 65f. Next couple days only into the 70's with lows at 60f.

It's been a rather mild summer so far and the forecasts is showing for that to stay the trend for at least a couple weeks. We went over 90 one day for a few hours. Lows have been in the 60's (with a few nights in the 50's) but no lows in the 70's yet and none forecasted.
