GFS operational model also in agreement with deep troughing in the eastern US at the end of the month (although the ensemble members are not all so enthusiastic).

Splendid yet sort of chilly and breezy weather today in the Indianapolis area. The national weather service says highs in the low to mid 70’s today, we shall see how warm it gets later today, 66 F as of noon.

Yes, which will likely ensure that we go below average for the month here... but how long does it last into October is the big question.

PNA goes negative and NAO positive after the first couple days of October

Europe will get in on the cool end to September too

Can you pack me in your suitcase and I come with you? I’m not ready for cool or cold weather lol I’d rather have the weather in Houston rather than the chilly weather Indy’s dealing with right now.

Yea our water temp has still been in the mid 70s. Not as warm as summer but you could still feel a bit of warmth in the breeze yesterday

I asked for a Acadia Denali instead of the usual crappy Nissan so that I get cooled seats. Should work well . My friends wife just got a brand new Yukon Denali Duramax and air suspension with cooled seats is so comfortable.

Wow this thread goes fast. That's why I miss the euro season thread.

The weather has become more seasonal here, but there's a forecast for the first real Autumn-like temperature drop next week. Right now possible 17c high forecast for next Saturday, which would be more like an October 15th high here.

Some rain is finally coming as well.

The cold snap turned out to lead to highs between 66-70 on the weekend here..with blue skies and sunshine. A taste of coastal Southern California weather. Pretty good actually all in all.
