No idea, but I don't think Brownsville TX is used to that jarring temperature drop which is more common in the Midwest.

Looks like we'll have to wait for mid November for any chance of a warm up here

Strengthening ENSO leading to above average temperatures for eastern US after mid November? That wouldn’t be good. I prefer colder than average November to October. There hasn’t been a colder than average November for most of the US in a long time.

We'll see how it plays out. I don't mind a mild Thanksgiving, just as long that it's cold and snowy on Christmas

More record heat for Tampa. No chance of any change.

45° here. Sunny next 4 days. A miracle.

6am Well below normal in Texas, well above normal in Florida.

This is why. Cold front hasn't (and wont) cross south of Southeast coast with Big High off the Atlantic.

This morning's record Lows or close.

I got two words for ya. LOCKED IN. Not going anywhere for weeks. I just see no front or 50's for my area that is gonna just blow thru. This has been the norm the last 7 falls and proves we are in big trouble over the next 30 years.
