Sold for 1.3 million in 1996. So yeah, probably worth 3 million today. Nice overview image of that house with that link.

Two days ago even the city square got a hint of winter.

This is quite fun. It's a small hut where for the next few weeks, a few santa's little helpers will reside, and as you put your present on the left side, it will come out on the right side all wrapped up and ready, complete with a funny little rhyme.

These were taken by my SO yesterday in Tavelsjö. The temp dropped from like 0'C to -10'C in a couple of hours whereas the city stayed mostly the same. The fog was rolling in.

The poles are what, like 50 meters apart? Pretty dense fog.

I got home a little later and couldn't take as neat pictures of it.

Lots of inversion stuff going on the last two days. Today we went to a yule feast close to Lycksele and on the way there the temp of the bus would change from -8 to -4 and back in a matter of 5 minutes, and from 0 to -4 and back just as quickly on the way back. We also had freezing rain towards the end, windshields covered with ice and all.
This is the kind of thing we're talking about. If it's a frost hollow or simply a case of inversion due tondifferent altitudes I don't know.

And also, a game of can you spot the frost hollow?

On our journey we stopped by in Vindeln to drop off the dog at SO's grandma's. The fact that I dislike snow does not negate the fact that it was pretty.

It's pretty nice that we've got large windows on my job so I can snap pictures of the sunset while I'm working.

13:20

13:45, fog starting to emerge.

15:00, quite a bit of fog now.

We had what I assume was a pretty strong aurora. Couldn't tell because of the supermoon imposed twilight. Just look how ****ing bright the ground and sky is compared to my other aurora shots. That's all from the god damn super moon.

The aurora was directly overhead, and it was still visible in the astronomical twilight, so it must've been a pretty strong aurora indeed. But stupid moon ruins it completely.

Look at this ****ing moon. Really super, you can only barely even tell there's an aurora there if you squint hard enough.

All these were handheld mobile shots. Should give you an idea of how bright both the moon and the aurora were.
