Another warm, humid day expected. Nearby NWS station is reporting 67 F/19 C with light rain but it's not raining here. Either very localized shower or it's being tricked by the fog? I've noticed it says "light rain" a lot even when it's not raining.

No end to the warmth and humidity in sight. We're really paying the price for those two gold star weeks in late August/early September.

did a lot of people lose their cars? Sandy destroyed 100,000 cars.

I think humidity is forecast to drop after Tuesday, right as Jose skims us.

Hmm yeah, the lows do look a little cooler towards the end of the week (upper 50s). Days still warm (upper 70s).

Pleasant September weather for next several days. Notice that the lows are much cooler than it was in the past couple weeks. Lows in the upper 40's possible as well?

whoa looks like our forecast earlier this month. Too many days with rain and warm nights this week. Fog lifting in Boston, looks great!

It was smoky again yesterday, but now the front is coming and hopefully it will clean the environment. Even the trees are dusty, so unpleasant and unhealthy. We need at least 3 full days of real rain. 0.02" in the last 90 days is not enough.

Hopefully this rainfall forecast pans out. Not enough, but better than nothing.

I can't speak for Naples, and they got the eyewall so I'm sure it's worse over there, but because of the fact that most people in Miami are at least somewhat hurricane savvy there are less car "casualties" than you might expect. Not to say there aren't any though, the number of cars looking like this in the Miami area is probably in the thousands,
