Today here we had a morning low of 63 F and a high of 82 F, as of 6 PM it's 79 F with a 57 F dew point. This March really hasn't been all that bad down here.
Still above average though lol.

Considering how much above average 2015 and 2016 were, I'll take this very slightly above average March lol has been our coolest March since 2014.

April looks ridiculously warm to start off though according to the ten-day forecast, with highs in the 88-91 F range.

I always find it odd how April is noticeably cooler than October here but it seems 90s happen more frequently in April. Perhaps drier air and higher sun angle play a role?

Exactly, April rarely has much warmer mid-level temps than October but the sun angle, length of day, and greater chance of westerly winds (what we need for true heat) are more than enough, remember that day in 2015?, that was the second hottest temperature of the 21st century in Key Biscayne I believe at 94F (June 2009 had a day of 96F). Cool snaps are way stronger in april though, record low of 39F.

The GFS is also showing this heatwave for the beginning of april, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple 88/74 days inland.

High of 59 so far. Busted lower than the forecast of 63 8th day in the 50s this month. The low of 47 this morning was higher than 19 highs so far.

Today is the 10th above average max of this month. February had 20 and January had 21.

Down to 2.6 degrees below average now. Today is the 4th straight above day!
High of 56 today. I'm actually surprised it was that high considering the clouds and all the snow. This is only our 4th day above 50F, the snow cover has essentially kept as in the freezer even as other parts of Upstate New York have been thawing, but now the snow cover is just about gone after today. Only shoveled piles remain

Yeah, I remember it hit 97 F here at HWO, and I believe 99 F at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport

And yes, cold fronts in April are way stronger. Falling into the 50s in April seems pretty easy while in October it seems like somewhat of a challenge. Average lowest temp for April is 56 F while for October it's 63 F.

I'm sorry but considering your averages and that it is April I find upper 50s and low 60s pretty sad for the warmest in the forecast? Has it really been that bad?

How does the rest look?

His average highs are around 50-52 F this time of year, warmest day on there looks like 67-70 F. You're surprised the warmest day is like 15-18 F above average?

Unless you're referring to the ten-day forecast. Even then, warmest day being nearly 10 F above average is not that surprising.
