High was 93°F/33.9°C today, a full 14°F/7.8°C above avg and warmer than was predicted. Was also our forth consecutive 90°F/32.2°C+ in a row, as well as fourth this year
The lowest it got here this week was 34F. A bit disappointing considering what north FL got. It only got to 40F the past two nights with cloud cover coming in.
The forecast low tonight here is 54F... Winds coming out of the south now. Forecast high tomorrow of 77F.

DISCUSSION...
High pressure forecast to continue shifting to the east of the
area. Thus winds will continue to increase out of the south with a
warming trend over the next few days. Will continue to carry a few
sprinkles across the western portions of the forecast area
tonight. Did inherit some rain chances for Saturday, however both
the GFS and ECMWF indicate very low chance across the central
Louisiana and front really looks to stall north of the area now.
Next storm system approaches just beyond this forecast period.
Weatherman said this is it, the freeze right now SHOULD be last freeze. After this maybe 1 or 2 frosts and we are done for the year. Believe it or not past 3 nights have been abnormal related to seasonal last averages.... average last 26 degree night is March 8 2000-2017 and March 15 1981-2010. So as I said before, these past 3 nights have been abnormal for mid March.
Not too mention these 24 degree lows are 2 weeks later than normal.
Last freeze/frost is first few days of April, we have received last hard freezes later than normal so hoping we get early last freeze which seems plausible based on long range forecasts... of course anything is possible.

I'll be in Phoenix tonight
Euro weeklies are NOT showing a warming trend for Midwest/Northeast the next month and a half as been advertised by the CFS and JMA
A quick return of seasonable but yet still below average weather from Sunday to Tuesday. And then another mammoth arctic blast with highs 20 degrees below average. Ugh
