I have April's Avg for RDU is 60.2 and the warmest April is 63.6 in 2011. So the warmest is actually +3.4 degrees above. Does seem low! Interesting.
I didn't realize your 9 day stretch of well above normal max temps this month. Wow. It's been hot there, be happy! gees.
I'm happy, I am not dissatisfied as Alex thinks and I knew he would say before I posted. We have been really warm , plus 8-10 most days some +12. Probably should have put less opinion in my post since that generally is not liked. None the less my question is how is it so low? Right now month is not near the warmest for the date, yet some where around now the warmest April's dive in averages it seems.
Agreed. Complaining during a warm April that the warm anomaly isn't "enough" is the very definition of unnecessary bitching. This forum has turned into a forum of complainers.
I swear some of you aren't satisfied unless you have an entire month of +30 anomalies.
People are avoiding the real issue here: Northeast US is just too damn cold. We wouldn't need +30 anomalies if it wasn't so damn cold here during winter and spring
Another Extremely Hot Day in Pakistan
Larkana: 49.5°C
Sukkur: 49°C
Dadu & Moen-Jo-Daro: 48.5°C
Sibbi, Padidan and Benazirabad: 48°C http://www.pmd.gov.pk/FFD/cp/pmaxtemp.asp
Is it me or has this April been a lot cloudier than normal? I've liked it though, April is way too sunny usually.
Yeah it has, my guess is that its mainly because of a persistent easterly flow off the atlantic with slightly cooler than normal upper level temps (which creates instability and because of the warm water slightly above average temps) and has thus caused the sporadic cloud cover and even occasional showers. It's been the opposite story on the west coast though, ocean effect clouds can't get much more inland than the redlands and, because there's been no other moisture of note, things are pretty parched over there.

Finally it's them for once and not us. Them being wet and us dry seems to be pattern the last two years.

Yep, although we haven't exactly been "wet" here lol. MIA has only had 0.06" of rain so far this month lmao.
