You're just having a gift that keeps on giving up there

At least here we're close to normal...

Accuweather claims 21/10 for Nyköping, but I'd guess that's more like 21/11.5 ish in the area where I live because nights have been pretty mild it has to be said The end result for this month I do expect to be 21/12 or something like that.

It's like a Midlands summer though. Underwhelming to say the least, at least not that much rain so far, but this is a rain shadow similar to Ipswich so little surprise there.

Any climates that have a low diurnal range in winter - Say, 6C during the day and only 3C at nights?

Although, to be fair, Jakobsli is having it much worse with 16.0/9.5 compared to 19.6/11.8 according to infoclimat (00-16) so -3'C so far...

Edit: Also, our max temperature so far this year is 22.7'C... that's ridiculous. If August doesn't see heat either, surely that must be some rare record high.

And our temps seem to have completely settled on a -3'C deviation. Just check this out.

Why does the Canadian humidex overstate the feels like temperature so much? Currently 27.8C/89% humidity in Hong Kong, the different temperature sensation indices give:

Humidex (Canada): 41C
Heat Index (USA): 33C
App Temp (AUS): 33.3C (taking into account wind speed of 9kmh)

It's certainly warm out, but it doesn't feel anything like 41C.

Yeah, heat index is about 33*C.

Yesterday in Göle, the low was 8.4°C and the high was 29.2°C.

(Göle is the coldest town in Turkey in winter)

Yeah, the Canadian humidex is a giant joke. I get the feeling it's so sensitive because Canada isn't as used to high heat and humidity as the U.S. or Australia so they exaggerate it.

Skrova in the Lofoten Islands, near Svolvær town. Rather warm lows for an island well into the Arctic Circle:

But warmer days inland in the Arctic:
weather bardufoss - norway - weatheronline

I think the highs are more impressive. An island within the arctic should have very little diurnal range.

Also, those are warmer highs than we've even seen this year...
