I'd say the climate of London is more like Seattle.

Indeed, but that one wasn't on the ballot here

I've always thought of London as a kind of bigger, cooler (in terms of climate) version of Sydney (although perhaps it makes more sense the other way around), so I'd have to say Sydney. New York is too continental and too American, it seems more different.

London has very little in common with either city, in terms of average annual mean temperatures it's reasonably close to NYC, and in terms of the overall temperature range (between summer and winter) it's closer to Sydney, but those are the only things that stand out to me.

I'm leaning towards Sydney as London's overall climate regime is more similar to Sydney's, they're just at different latitudes, but I can see why some have chosen NYC as its average annual temperature is much closer to London's.

Dare I say Sydney and NYC hit more of the same points than either city does with London? They do fall under the same climate type, ironically, although they couldn't be any more different from each other.

London is what you would get if you were to mix NY with Sydney. How about that?

Who cares whether London is more like Sydney or LA. Enough of these topics that clutter this forum.
