Now you go further out? I'm curious.... How come you skipped over the below normal period we are having this weekend into next week?
I say lets hold off on a 2 week forecast from NOAA and CFS. Just like you said this about the cold and snow I was showing you coming. ..
12-16 days from then puts us at this weekend. Whooops. That didn't pan out.
Seems like you're same as wavehunter was with the hype. At least I show both sides. You did 1 or 2 times but this down below is a majority past 2 weeks.
Do you still think this will verify for this weekend? LOLOL!!
This forecast was put out by our local weather center here. It's a 16 day forecast put out on March 11th . To me it looks as if it might pan out. It shows the cool down coming and then a rebound there after. They used a blend of models to develop this.
It's no secret that I hope for above average temps in the spring. But yes, skill drops 2 weeks out. It's just fascinating to see what the models suggest will happen. Even cold anomalies forecasted, it's not like I wouldn't post them. Of course I do. Whether or not they validate is a whole other matter.
First two weeks of March thus far
What NOAA said would happen this March

Must be a funeral everywhere in North Carolina and Virginia today. This is so sad looking all over there. Gees.
Hot sun, had football workouts today, it was only 86 degrees and many people after we finished were lightheaded and one dude threw up. This is nothing compared to summer workouts, imagine it, hot summer sun, heavy pads, running, lifting weights, etc. Tough.
