Yeah,I know,but at this Latitude and Altitude both South America and North America gets snow early or Later in Season.
Clear skies here this afternoon and 86F at 5 PM. Relatively low humidity with a dewpoint of 61F. It feels comfortable in the shade, but pretty warm out in the sun.
Look at the ridiculous heat up in Northwest Territories and NW Ontario.
Just guessing but I'd think it's at least 15C above normal in those places! Also, the 27C in St. John's, NFLD is notable (I had to zoom in to make sure it wasn't a "2" and a "7" right next to each other lol).
Also, it's 100F with a dp of 82F in Choix, Mexico!
We've discussed this a thousand times. Southern South America has much more of an oceanic climate and much colder summers, so is it really a shock that spring or summer snow is common there? Also, Calgary can see snow in June or July as well, albeit rare.
It's true, but overall you have places at 50-55° that get 4c average highs in winter in the land of silver. On the East Coast you have to go down to at least 40° to find that warm of a winter, if you're looking in the Midwest then probably 35°
