Yeah, Waitrose is very nice. The nearest Waitrose to me is in Meanwood, but it's kind of awkward to get to from here. There's an M&S supermarket down the road though and the food there is very nice as well.

As for Primark - meh. I remember when Harvey Nichols opened its first store outside London in Leeds. There was a lot of fuss surrounding that. We were dubbed 'Knightsbridge of the North', lol.

Russians lurking nearby again? Why would fighters scramble on supersonic speeds in the middle of the night otherwise?

It was an Air France plane that became unresponsive. I guess they went to check what was up. It was escorted into Newcastle Airport and landed without any problems.

Very unusual for it to happen over a major city though. Well over a million people will have heard it.

I've never been to Harvey Nichols before. I imagine it to be expensive?

I don't have expensive taste in clothing at all. I only ever go in Topman, River Island and H&M. Clothes shopping is horrific, so I only stick to shops I know!

Very expensive. I went onto their website and saw this tiny little gold clutch bag for over £2,000. I can't afford to shop there anyway! The one in Leeds has a nice restaurant on the top floor though.

I get nearly all my clothes from Topman and River Island.

Screw prêt-à-porter. I have an appointment with my tailor every other week.

There's one not too far from me either, but I've never been there. Heard the prices are reasonable.

They're very reasonable, you actually start to realize how much you overpay elsewhere.

I've been noticing over the last few years that black women seem to be more attracted to me than any other race. I wonder why.
