I quite like Aldi actually. Some stuff is rubbish, but they're certainly useful for a lot of things.
We normally shop in Waitrose, and what we spend £150 a week on there, costs probably £40 or £50 in Aldi.

A great opportunity for filming! You should do it.

These were the 'explosions' that everyone in Yorkshire heard last night as a Typhoon broke the sound barrier 5,000 feet above the ground.. I think some people will have had a change of underwear. No wonder people's first thought was 'bomb'.

I have an Aldi not that far from me, should give it a try. Some people are big fans of it.

I did a shop in Aldi the other day, it is very cheap and the quality is good for the price. Not top drawer quality, but I certainly don't notice a difference in taste with many of the big brands.

Veg is cheap in there, broccoli stalk, carrots, celery etc is about 29p or something ridiculous when on offer. Meat is good quality and cheaper also, and the alcohol is pretty good and fairly cheap - though unfortunately you can never really get 'cheap' alcohol here due to extortionate taxes

Things like a bottle of ketchup or mayonnaise costing 55p and tasting just as good as heinz which is usually at least double that

£150 is a lot of money to spend on food a week. I do my shopping at Sainsbury's, but I don't really do big shops. I love Sainsbury's own-brand food - by far the best of the major supermarkets IMO.

I know it is! It doesn't actually get that much food either in bloody Waitrose. It's good quality in there though, so I think you probably do get the quality you pay for. We occasionally use Sainsburys too, which like you say is very good, and better than Asda and Tesco.

Haha! My missus said it was a bomb going off, and I told her it was likely a Typhoon, which she didn't believe.

She was wrong.

Here in Germany many of Aldi's own-brand products come from the same factories as the popular brands, they are essentially the same product just cheaper.

Not nearly as long a journey, but I always enjoy sitting by the train window, looking at the gradually changing scenery between Nice and Paris.

Lmao, I'm gonna have to go find some commie blocks first and do it next to them.
The Riverside Plaza would be an awesome backdrop for a car crash, Russian style. I'd suggest running the light at this intersection:

IKR. Lots of people acted that way when they opened up a store at a local mall. More power to them, I guess.
