20 F? That's peanuts. -90 F here and snowing at a clip of five feet an hour.

Already 26mm of rain lol
Looks like the rain is clearing, but you are going to be left with some truly rancid arctic cold. In typical Melbourne failwhale fashion, penance must be payed for any and all heat. A genuine ASS of a day coming up. Same polar bull**** tomorrow aswell

It has been frog strangler raining going on 12 hours. Rivers and creeks are at flood stage in many areas. Roads have washed out and there have been water rescues in some areas.

We are a bit soggy but drier than many. We live up on hill that has been blessed with the best natural drainage system anyone could ask for. Thank you dad for the things you taught me on the farm, so I knew what I was looking to buy

We have a big sink hole in the far pasture that is now a big swimming hole for the deer.

Even though it is only 64 F, it is a warm 64. The dew point is the same as the temperature, lol.

I was sweating in shorts and tank top mucking horse stalls. DH volunteered to brave the pouring rain and empty the dump cart for me.

We have been so unseasonably warm, my pastures are Spring Green. They should be winter brown by now. If we were really anal about this farm yard we could mow if the rain ever stops, but we won't, lol.

Unbelievable.

We might get through the autumn without any real snowfall. Haha, 60N. Incredible.

High of 83 F today. A near monthly record breaking day.

Florida barely managed to avoid 90 F again today. Naples hit 89 F.

I don't see my extended family today or anything. Our big get-together was yesterday, xmas eve, as always. Xmas day is kind of uneventful and boring, honestly.

And yeah, watched A Christmas Story again this morning and that movie scene is what made me suggest we go to a Chinese restaurant this evening. Real Asian restaurant, too -- run entirely by Chinese and/or other Asian staff who speak broken English. Tis the season to be jarry. LOL. I love that scene.

Sometimes in this forum I feel like I'm reading through a botany forum rather than a weather forum.

It was a frigid 74 F here. Now it's all the way down to 65!
