I think it's odd. Wearing shorts and a hoodie at the same time? Is it hot or cold? Make up your mind.
On a spring/fall (or indeed summer ) day where it goes from 50s in the morning to 70s in the afternoon I'll wear a jip-up jacket with shorts.

Why don't you take it off? On a sunny day I'd only wear a hoodie if it's 15C or less.

It takes 6 hours, too.
Damn, you could almost drive there in half the time if it's not at rush hour.
People online are a different story in reality. I guarantee they would not say nearly anywhere near the extent of the hostile things that they are so pleased to type behind a device.
When you wake up in the morning you can make the choice of being a nice, kind hearted person or a vindictive, bully. That choice is what separates the good and the bad in society.
I recommend that people take a step back and seriously think before passing judgement on anyone at all.

A return ticket to London Waterloo at peak times for an Adult from my station whic h is about 16 miles away is about £15
That is a rip off
I thought the LIRR is bad — $20 round-trip (not during rush hour, add $5 for peak) from the station nearest my parent's house to Manhattan. Distance 36 miles. Doesn't include the subway. Berlin and Prague's transit was reasonably priced.

Actually, I forgot that the £15 price includes travel all around London on the tube and buses and any TFL services, so maybe it isn't too bad..
Paris is certainly cheaper, not sure about Berlin but most likely too
Listening to Dark side of the moon, been a while since I listened to Pink Floyd.. Forgot how good they were
21 mm of rain at the AP following the 17.4mm from yesterday. Good stuff, but I'm drenched.
