Remind of the time the government "shut down" a couple years ago. All the national parks were closed because of childish politicians...embarrassing.

Wish we had them too. We had nothing but beanies be it summer or winter. Berets or caps weren't allowed in the field.

They are Guard Jaegers, responsible of defending Helsinki, so urban yes. Knee pads are quite normal military equipment these days.

Hilarious.
A couple months ago a truck crashed near where I live that was carrying Makers Mark bourbon. I would've been glad to help with the "clean up"

Winter officially starts in 24 days. Im ready to rant against those who keep showing those red above normal forecast maps for Canada. They have no idea THAT DOESNT MEAN WARM!! Also ready to rant against those who think it cant snow and be cold during El Nino and even above normal winters.

They need to go back to school!!!! Then again, thats maybe where they got brainwashed in their forecasting ways

There's never been a year without snow in Lexington.

That's why we should trade locations for a winter.

Another fascinating statistic from Kentucky. Thanks.

Here's a graph of their Winter snowfall totals.

2.1" was the least they ever got in 1931-32.
55.4" was the most in 1916-17

Last year was 6th snowiest and they hadn't had that much since 1978.

That would be interesting if it was only for the winter. I'd come back in March and it would be 20F cooler than February!
