That.

That's what I'm arguing against. Isn't that going against science? A shift to Hotter weather = south flow, SW or SE flow too which is a recipe for increasing dews which is shown in that graph I posted as we headed into May..

After all, we don't get muggy with a NW flow.

Current Dew points..

Yeah seems to be a late start this year. We've had a few storms here and there but nothing consistent. Usually by now the daily storms have usually been started for about 2 weeks.

Although there are some dark clouds building to the north, maybe we'll get something today. I'm just getting impatient.

Got a load of Sugar Maple delivered. Time to do some splitting to prepare for Winter 2016-17. Temp 79°F and a bit on the muggy side for strenuous work but doable.

Every day in Accuweather's 10 day forecast has a high in the 80s and a low above 62. At least some days have a chance of thunderstorms.

Currently it's 87 with a dew point of 61, but it feels surprisingly hot and humid because I haven't experienced really hot and humid weather this year to compare it to.

Interesting. We shot up to 81 with a dewpoint of 70 after a rain shower passed over.

dude we have had a lot of hot humid days this year it was 87 on Wednesday with dew point of 68! Raleigh is only 30 miles south and east from chapel hill lol highly doubt its been any different than here. In fact every day this week apart from memorial day has been hot and muggy including today. but yeah many of our warm days have been dry but still we have had plenty of hot and muggy days. and about the lows we have had lows in the lowers 70s and upper 60 many times this month so far!

Interestingly May 1957 was below average temps with below avg precip. Very different from this current May.

June 1957 was above average temps with a 100F day and below avg precip. July was way below average precip and below avg temps. August was more below avg in temps, but average in precip. Sept was right on average. The scary part was February 1958 which was almost as cold as this past February. That's all I need is back to back way way below average Feb. I think it is coming though.

Low clouds early this morning, probably from radiational cooling (valley cloud?) See a deep blue sky overhead, going to heat up fast.
