I know, elevation isn't even the problem here, it's the trees, there's far too many. Only few spots offer okay-ish views here. Beautiful shelf cloud moving in from the north right now.

Those storms were moving fast in the NE. I see Concord, NH received 0.04'' out of that event, still on track for the driest May on record there.

Latest GFS6z for Danbury.

Back & Forth and yet we can never get dry heat. Warm & Dry yes. Hot & Dry No.
  • Looks like a decent rainfall Sunday-Sunday night with the strong cold front. Check out the dewpoints after Sunday. NICE! 30s and 40s!
  • Looks like coolness lasts till end of week. Monday the coolest day maybe struggling past 50s. Heaters on June 1st?
  • Wednesday my pick of the week for you guys. Warm & Dry! 70s and Dew points in the 40s with sunny skies.
  • Then gets warm and muggy Friday-Sat, then another front comes through knocks temps and DPs down again with some rain too.
  • Then we get a south flow and right back to hot and muggy but that's 2 weeks from now so it can change.

Snow & 1/4 mile visibility in Gillam Canada with blowing snow. Wind Chill of 13.4°F! Wow. That's a cold air mass.

That Canadian High will curve around and be the culprit for the cold temps in mid West and New England.

I see few other areas it's snowing right now .

Too bad that HP and cold air isn't diving south more into like the TN Valley for NorthStarDelight to feel it. lol Very hard this time of year for those kind of dives.

This one barely gets to the U.S border except over Maine

We're getting dry heat today. Dew point low 50s, highs in the mid 80s. Tomorrow more humid but still under 60 for dew point. Perfect summer day, air smells fresh and looks clear

Will it be one of those "lucky days" for you? Dewpoint is 60 here and starting to feel muggy. Sun is very hot.
I noticed it went up as it got hotter this morning. Ugh. And I see yours is upper 50s...what low 50s?

But again, let me know when your DPs are in the 30s or 40s with temps in the 80s. That's dry heat. Upper 50s is just above normal for you anyway and not even below normal.

Its tough man.. Hard to get dry heat in our region, especially me.

What I'm waiting for is below normal dewpoints and above normal temps. Forget it. Gotta get lucky here.
