This is what the coldest start to June on record looks like at the CT coast(BDR). Records since 1948. Not even 68° yet.

So I can safely say I never experienced this weather first 5 days of June in my lifetime. Feels incredible.

Good eye. Did the hail strip that tree? I see green on the other one. its from DOT so that was a current shot.

There are still plenty of trees with little to no leaves here. That's just how it is here. And then there are the trees with fall foliage already...

That pic looks like something from Ecuador or Colombia with the insane hailstorms they occasionally get.

Meanwhile, I can hear the distant thunder of an incoming storm...

Another 1/4" of rain here last couple hours. So friggin annoying rain is now. Next time people hype the drought we're in, tell them to be quiet.

For Years I ALWAYS see we go from "its so dry we need rain!" to ..... "enough is enough with the rain, let it stop"

Moving Southeast. Looks like northern CT is next with the next batch

How come? With the mild temps and sun strenght, I wouldn't expect that.

Not overly humid, but not really dry either, the dew point was in the 16-19°C (60-67°F) range in Paris when temps were in the 30s Celsius yesterday. In Troyes, southeast of Paris, the dew point reached 23°C/74°F just before sunset and storms (T° was 29°C/84°F). Random bout of high humidity in Champagne yesterday.

Meanwhile in Nice the night was warm, with a 23.6°C/74.5°F low at 10 pm. After midnight temps stayed above 76°F, with a peak at 84°F at 9 am before the arrival of the sea breeze.

Bridgeport, Boston, Islip and Bangor having the coldest start to June on record at their current locations. June 1-5 period.

And because of May it's not the coldest year on record anymore but still in Top 10 so far.

Bangor Avg temp of 49.4°F -10.2 below normal
