^^ Interesting how on your first graphic the Lakefront has the highest temperature.
Probably because Northerly Island (Loop/Lakefront) stayed warmer than inland locations overnight. They got a head start. I think they bottomed out at 75F. But once winds shift off of lake.... crash
Sitting in shade swatting bugs I actualy didnt mind 78°F and DPs in the upper 50s... WITH WIND < Important factor in my comfort with warm temps.
My backyard DP is 57 now. But then realized I was being lazy and when I walked into the sunny area I gave up. Too warm and humid for me with the strong sun.
So apparently.. Winds at 18,000 feet are from the West. Winds at 5000 feet are from the SouthWest. Winds at the surface are from the South this afternoon.
Anyone noticing the cold fronts coming through in the Northeast like every 4-8 days or something?? Just had one yesterday (hence the rain and storms yesterday) and reason for the drier air today. Again this weekend. Think it happened 2 weeks ago as well when we had DPs in the 50s with temps in the 70s
Now imagine if we get strong typhoons in the Pacific (remember?).. Then instead of just cold fronts, the Northeast will get troughs swinging in which means cooler air.
I think we are volitile the rest of June heading into July with warmth, muggy, dry, and normal. Nothing really sustained . SER core having a hard time staying too far north.
Several hailstorms in southern France today, though none over here. With the rising sea temperatures, the dew point rises too. It reached 23°C/73°F today in Toulon. Nice is the driest locale on the French Med coast atm, with a dew point of only 15°C/58°F.
Hot in southern BC, a little bit of warmth feeding up into the NWT
