NYC is at 79°. I'm at 69°. VERY warm and humid morning.
And in between, 84º in St. Louis.

At 9am here it's 74F with a dew point of 73F, and some fog. High of 90F with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Absolutely perfect.

Looks like tomorrow will the day to see some t-storms. Friday and Sat look to be "bald sun" days, so I'm sure you'll enjoy that...lol.

As for me, I'm about ready to go to a place where it's never sunny and always 65 F - the DeKalb International Market...lol.

Fair enough. Captain said there will be lots of turbulence on the eastern seaboard.

I wonder when we're going to get a day where the thunderstorm chance are higher than 20%.....
Today 93 F is predicted ("downgraded" from 95 F yesterday) heat indices up to 103.

Maybe. The chance is low, most of the northeast will be under high pressure and suppress any storms. Means it'll be sunny. We're getting a cold front tomorrow which will mean likely thunderstorms, but it might not reach DC. Afterwards chance of thunderstorms disappears, high pressure becomes stronger. My forecast:

Washington DC:

Notice that the difference in lows is bigger than highs.

I noticed that; they changed it a week ago. That was the old format of the site several years ago. You can get most of the same data from NOWData now that most stations are on it.
