Regina, Saskatchewan apparently received 78.2mm (3.08") of rain yesterday

That's incredibly high for the prairies, even during major thunderstorms. Certainly a new rainfall record for the day and most likely a new daily rainfall record for the month.

The highest I can remember seeing in Saskatchewan before this was 59mm in Saskatoon during a severe thunderstorm back in 1999.

Just by the map I made that observation... and here's an actual one..

11,000 feet at Big Sky Resort in Montana. And a Trace of snow in Missoula at 3200 feet!

Of course none around here in Miami. Just continues the story of this ****box summer....I bet we'll get "rewarded" for this hot, dry summer with a muggy, wet and warm winter.

Don't forget to stop and pick me up on the way - I'll split the driving and gas with ya.
