North Florida set to drop into the 50's this week. Must be rare for them. Right?

Ontario now. We went to the Bruce Peninsula...was breezy 60's up there - just gorgeous weather. Low 70's here, partly cloudy. Very, very nice - I can get real used to this in August...lol.

Tomorrow, I will travel east to Syracuse - looks like a nice stretch of 70's ahead this week. I love it, I love it, I love it.

Whoa! So that storm is pushing the trough and front that far.. I'm telling you.. if this pattern continues.. it's going to get interesting!

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL
413 PM CDT MON AUG 24 2015

TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...A DRY PATTERN CONTINUES OVER THE
NORTH CENTRAL GULF REGION AS AREA REMAINS ON THE WESTWARD SIDE OF A
LONGWAVE TROUGH WITH SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING IN FROM THE
NORTH. THIS PATTERN CREATES A DEEP NORTHERLY FLOW AND STRONG
SUBSIDENCE ALOFT. AS A RESULT ATMOSPHERE IS PROJECTED TO BE EXTREMELY
DRY WITH PRECIPITABLE WATERS VALUES FALLING INTO THE HALF TO 3/4 INCH
RANGE...HISTORICALLY ON THE EXTREME LOW END OF THE UPPER AIR CLIMATE
RECORD FOR OUR REGION. STRONG RADIATIONAL COOLING OVERNIGHT ALONG
WITH LOW LEVEL COLD AIR ADVECTION AND DECOUPLING OF LOW LEVEL WINDS
WILL ALLOW OVERNIGHT LOWS TO FALL TO NEAR OR BELOW RECORD LEVELS FOR
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNING. WINDS THOUGH WILL LIKELY REMAIN UP
ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST CREATING BREEZY CONDITIONS AND MODERATING
TEMPERATURE FALLS. WEDNESDAY MORNING LOWS AT MOBILE AND PENSACOLA
ARE FORECASTED TO FALL TO 60 AND 64 WHILE THURSDAYS ARE EXPECTED TO
DROP TO 61 AND 65, RESPECTIVELY. THE RECORD LOWS FOR MOBILE ON
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ARE 64 AND 62 AND AT PENSACOLA THE RECORD LOW
IS 66 FOR BOTH DAYS. THE RECORD LOW FOR MOBILE FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH
OF AUGUST IS 59...RECORDED IN 1891 AND THE ALL TIME LOW FOR PENSACOLA
IN AUGUST IS 60...RECORDED IN 2004. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE MODERATED
BY THE CAA ALOFT AS MOMENTUM MIXING OCCURS DURING THE AFTERNOON...THE
GFS PROJECTS 850 MB TEMPERATURES FALLING TO 58 DEGREES BEFORE COLD
AIR ADVECTION BOTTOMS OUT. DAYTIME HIGHS SHOULD GENERALLY RANGE FROM
THE MID 80S TO AROUND 90 DEGREES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. /08 JW

No.

NWS

Nashville area going to have some cool nights the next couple of nights. Outlying areas in the low-mid 50s. This is exactly why I laugh when people from the Upper South complain about the heat of their summers. At least they get breaks.

Even the Georgia/SC coast is getting robbed. Savannah not expected to get below 72 F. I'm not expected to get below 69 F. The good air is farther west.

Other local stations are reporting a dewpoint of 67°F; I think the Chicopee station is reporting too low.
It's definitely one of the higher dew points I've seen in the afternoon this year. It's been very humid here lately and not much to show for it....

It's that damn SE ridge. That needs to break down before October.
