Yep. I see the 40s, I even see one spot in NY at 45 F.
This morning our low was 80 F now at 10 AM it's 88 F (31 C) with a 96 F heat index (36 C).
We have a 70% chance of storms according to NWS. This summer has been such a fail, that whatever NWS says I'm going to believe about 1/10th of it. So to me, there's a 7% chance of storms this afternoon.
Low of 80? Whats that? Call the cops.
This should refresh you..
Beautiful Summer weather on the Summit.. It feels like below freezing (28°F) with 47mph wind gusts & Air Tempat 41°F. Mt Washington, NH. Awesome.
Looks like that stretch of horrid weather last July in Paris. You see it's possible in London too! So ridiculously bad I actually find it almost enjoyable.

Well that makes it even worse Somehow it made it up to nearly 18C earlier, so it is still one of the coolest July days since 2005, but won't go as far as being the coolest since the 80s.
A temperature of just 14C at nearly 5pm is HORRIFIC for July.. surely this has to record breaking for this time in the afternoon? I guess this is under very heavy rain, but I certainly have never seen it this bad before.. even in 2007-2012 the temperatures stayed in the high teens whilst it was raining heavily..
This is pure filth, I have closed all windows.. it could be November outside if it wasn't for the bright green leaves
irlinit : and long days, November weather, paired with still long days is weird i think makes london looks like subarctic island, thats why melbourne guy always say "subarctic" (he mean subantarctic, of course) cause of the sub-room temperature temps combined with still bright at 9pm+

Dark, gloomy, raining, cold.
Have I been transported back to July 2007?
16C and it's nearly 17:00. I am not exaggerating, it feels FREEZING

Current temps look amazing there! Upper level flow generally from the NW off the cold waters and inside a pure trough with cold air aloft.
Back home... Northeast U.S also has a N/NW flow aloft keeping us bone dry for July standards thanks to that Upper Level low near Maine. Caribou at 58°F
This is the coldest July afternoon on record at Heathrow, around 10-11c below average for today, certainly wasn't in the forecast. Just 3 weeks ago we had the warmest July temperature as well. The coldest day in July 2007 had a high of 18.6c.
Tomorrow should be around 22-23c, still below average but much closer to a normal day that the filth we've had today.
That sounds awesome. Especially when it's 91 F (33 C) with a 100 F (38 C) heat index.
With light rain?! Not good summit weather. If the rain increases, there's a risk of hypothermia. I've been on the summit in low 40s with moderate wind it's fine only wearing a light jacket. But with light rain it's not good. I was thinking of going up there, by the forecast looked bad
