Beautiful pictures Roz
This plant is pittosporum tobira, its flowers are extremely fragrant.
In my city they are planted everywhere, especially on the seaside because they stand well saltiness and sand. My garden is full of these plants growing as weeds from seeds.

Is this supposed to be a river?

This dam broke in the 50s, killing hundreds.

The nearby town of Cannes is busier than usual with the current film festival.

Traffic jams everywhere, even out on the sea.

Can't get enough of these cloudless skies.

Btw, bougainvillea flowers are out.

What is the SST there now? I'd like to jump in that water depending on how warm it is.

The cashier said "sankfran'" violently and quickly like a 100 times, I didn't speak a word of French at the time and was puzzled. Finally she got it that I'm just a tourist and showed 'five' with her hand, and I handed her the money. The next days we just exchanged smiles and did the transaction, because I never bought anything but bread, except for once when I bought chewing gum. I think it was 5 franc as well.

I don't think you get a bread for sankfran' anymore.
