Just took these

Light rain and gutters free flowing had to make my way to clear a path and take snow away from the foundation and clear any ice in the drain. Block of ice in there. Couldn't break it up

nice flowers but surprised that there aren't buds on the trees given how mild it is there.

40s, Light Rain and Fog helped the melting process but lots still remain and now I noticed the Azaleas are budding. 3/11/15

And I forgot I had a low shrub under there. LOL.

I'm at 41N

By this time in 2012 Strawberries were sprouting.

2013 I was tilling the soil.

Last yr this time only small piles were around and a 1 inch snowpack only because of the 7" snowstorm on March 8th. Otherwise ground was bare and just piles were around.

This year.... an 11" snowpack

Been later and later every year since I can remember in 2010. Growing season has been getting cut shorter lately and its not long around here to begin with

I didn't think the skies would be so blue there. The cloud looks more like sea breeze cloud, rather than the convective cloud I would have expected. Grass that green could only be early spring.

Nice European fan palms. I've never seen a single one in my region. Deciduous magnolia is a beautiful tree when in flower. Very much a sign of late winter.

I think the big convective clouds are more of a summer pattern in Florida, and smaller cumulus clouds are often around outside of convective spells.

Okay. That photo still has a cold vibe to it though (part from the palms). It might just be the light and cloud, it reminds me of chilly late winter/early spring afternoons.

Not chilly at all. It was 80F and humid that day.

Humid breezy day today, with light showers spitting at me on a 1 mile bike ride to the St. Lucie Lock.

Coconut palm and (dead?) water hickory

The Okeechobee Waterway is a 150 mile canal that starts at Stuart on the Atlantic, goes through Lake Okeechobee, and ends at Fort Myers on the Gulf side.

Lots of RVers come here during the winter to camp.
