lol. Im guessing will melt there by mid week?

This morning still snow on ground in the south so you're not alone.. Northeast looks deep. Still 18" on ground here this morning

In Memphis Tennessee there was 4" on the ground Thursday12z then that day had a max of 30°F.

The next morning 3" was on the ground yesterday morning . Yesterdays max was 43F so this mornings report probably will show 1"?

Its in the 50s today so I assume snow will be gone tomorrow in Memphis except some piles.

Sounds of birds. Sounds of steady drips and streams. Sounds of wind without the chill. Sounds of private planes.. Spring is in the air today...

Snowpack on ground "still" over 15". Rare for here and looks weird.. Upper 40s today melting a lot. Can't believe we never had that usual "thaw" in January or February which is 40s/50s around here.

Sun feeling very strong.

North & South facing roof difference . 3/8/15.

Here's a comparison shot of today on left, Summer on Right (7/14/14).

The beauty of having 4 different seasons is when you get tired of 1, rest assure the other is coming. Sometimes late, Sometimes Early but always shows up

Thanks, Yeah, here's one I put together of a local area last year. Spring you have the fog and the melting with heavy flowing rivers. But each season here brings different results from temps to sky cover to precip type.

Today, went up Mt. Ascutney in Vermont. Lightly snowing late morning, cleared up a bit then clouded over again. Maybe a 1/3rd of the way up:

Summit tower:

from the top:

clumps of snow on conifers:

More sun on the way down:

Normally there was a small waterfall, but all water flowing or not was frozen solid:

Flurries came back near the end of the trail:

right near the trailhead:
