Today feels like what a warm, humid Summer day would be like in Chicago or NYC.

88 F (31 C) with a 70 F Dew Point, and a 94 F dew point (typical summer day in Philly, tom?). Weather is changing pretty drastically (by our standards) tonight, low of 59 F predicted.

That'd be a bit high, even by my standards lol. But in all seriousness, that weather would be perfect right now. Much better than cloudy 40's like we're experiencing today.

#EndlessCold

March 2015: 26.60°F, previous record 26.87°F. Five days not in the record, but the remaining will mostly average warmer than the month so far, so being #2 is more likely than #1.
For BDL 8th coldest March so far 31.5° Avg. Last year was 5th with 31.2° Avg. 1960 was record 28.3.

Albany, Worcester, Concord, Boston not a record.
March 2014 was colder but not much at all except Boston this year is colder.

Not sure where you're seeing its a record though..

AMHERST, MASSACHUSETTS - Climate Summary

[click on average under Monthly Temperature Listings]. Yes, I know it's only a CO-OP station. But still locally interesting.

Looks like stratus fractus to me.

Nice! Gotta "dig" it. (Jet Stream/Trough reference)

Current look at the 850mb temps & metars. It's actually snowing over Mississippi, Alabama, & TN (above 4000'. lol).

And lightly snowing at the surface in parts of northern Kentucky.

Lake effect snows happening off Erie and Ontario.

It's an impressive airmass for this time of year.

Here are the anomalies for that level tomorrow morning
