Lol another Enhanced risk fail. There hasn't been more than light rain with a couple rumbles of thunder in like 6 months.

Yeah the next 10 days won't feel like we are approaching mid late Spring.... Especially the further east you go in CONUS

Lol, look at the Canadian. Almost off the charts with anomalies. A 532Dam over MA is February style or maybe November like.

Obviously this is happening but I'm curious how strong once we get closer.

I'm calling for a struggle past 50 for 3 days and a majority of day in the 40s north of central NJ for 4 days.. Will check details by Tuesday.

I love Upper Lows!! So fascinating.

It's going to suck after a high of 79F yesterday, even today's 60F felt somewhat cool. As long as we don't get any random frosts or freezes, I highly doubt we will, but I've learned to expect the unexpected.

NWS Philly.

THE UPPER LOW SHOULD WILL EVENTUALLY PROGRESS EASTWARD INTO EASTERN
CANADA/NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND LATE THIS WEEK AND NEXT WEEKEND.
CYCLONIC FLOW AROUND THE LOW WILL KEEP A COOL AIRMASS OVER THE AREA
ALONG WITH PERIODS OF STRATOCU. MAY EVEN SEE SNOW SHOWERS IN THE
POCONOS EARLY THURSDAY.
TEMPS WILL BE BELOW NORMAL WITH HIGHS EACH
DAY RANGING FROM THE UPPER 40S IN THE POCONOS TO NEAR 60F IN THE
COASTAL PLAIN THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. DEEP MIXING WILL ALSO YIELD
GUSTY WEST-NORTHWEST WINDS DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS. THERE IS ALSO A
POTENTIAL FOR FROST TO DEVELOP AT THE SOME OF COOLER SPOTS IN
EASTERN PA AND NORTHWEST NJ EACH NIGHT IF WINDS IN THE BOUNDARY
LAYER ARE ABLE TO DECOUPLE AND SKIES CLEAR OUT.

THE GROWING SEASON
STARTS FOR NORTHEAST PA (EXCEPT CARBON AND MONROE) AND NORTHWEST NJ
IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS
, SO FROST ADVISORIES MAY BE NEEDED.

A tornado warned storm passed just to the north of where I was about an hour ago.

I'm wondering if this was a tornado that I got a picture of.

Damn! Sure looks like it but can't go by looks. Did you see any debris flying? Dust? Damage? That would imply a touchdown but could be straight line winds so have to access or have ground confirmation of a tornado

I didn't see anything. It was lit up by lightning and the storm was a couple of miles north.

Another tornado warning was just issued for my location!
