Updated seven day forecast for ORD.... Late next week into the following week might get hot here... I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Models have been backing off a bit on the heat they showed couple days ago.

I wish I was at 40F at 11pm. Its 71 at the CT coast in Bridgeport. It's 64F here just 10 minutes away and my A/C is on.

I wonder if these guys will be turning on some heat tonight.

Yes, first frost of the season for them. That is a notoriously cold reporting location as the airport there is in a low boggy wooded area by a river. They have a two month growing season, part of the Canadian shield geologically.

Chilly walking outside. 58°F at 9 pm. Not cooling down much more than that.

Widespread 40s this morning in Indiana, Ohio and western PA. 10-15 below normal including DC/Philly area. The rest are just 5-10 below normal.

Man it feels great out there!! 56F here which is the lowest I been since June 23rd!! It's been so hard for the coast to cool down. I love these Upper Level Lows in New England. Perfect

Washington Dulles normal is 65F/18.3C. Currently 53F/11.6C
