Since this month I have a new job at the office. One of the first tings I noticed was the lack of daylight at the office. Hours pass by and I only have a slight idea of the weather outside. Fot me as a weather-fan this is of course pure horror
Bit....it inspired me for the following question...
What do you prefer:

Living a nice (comfortable) and sunny climate BUT you have to work at a workplace with little daylight and airconditioning for 8 hours a day, five days a week

OR

Living in a cloudy, temperate climate in (for example) western norway while working at a place with full daylight access and lots of time you can go where you want.

I don't know what I would choose if I had this option.

Easily the former. I've still got weekends, lunch breaks and early evenings.

Exactly.

When I am working I want no distractions, I would rather be in a windowless room.

I do not care. I only care about the office space itself (ergonomics, indoor climate). The view from my office is not very inspisering (a parking lot).

Sunny climate office. Though I dont work, I would love to wake up to a sunny morning which uplifts my mood and get ready for going to work. I can enjoy outside later in the evening after work or on weekends. I could really care less about sunlight while 3 D modelling.

I did do an Internship in Chennai India, and outside the office building was wonderful tropical scenery with lovely cool evening rain in winter after sunshine like the one shown below causing lows to dip to 13 C after 29 C highs. Cool lows are a peculiar phenomenon in this specific part of Chennai during winter thanks to a large bay nearby:
