The best climate for all Humans where no air conditioning or little clothes is needed is a Tropical Savannah-Rainforest transitional Climate. Somewhere a little above sea level so temperatures don't rise to the mid 40s would be ideal.
A lot of root vegetables, fruits and leafy plants should be available...

The best climate for humans would be somewhere like Addis Ababa or Nairobi, the climate that humans evolved in.

The climates have never dropped below freezing. I think you're right about Addis Ababa and Nairobi. Anywhere too much warmer would make it sweaty (dehydration), and filled with mosquitoes (mosquito-borne diseases).
It's gets a bit too cold, but with some fire, it would work. Also, the rainfall never drops below 40 mm in any month. Also, the station is 261m/855ft above sea level, so it's about 2*C warmer (and more moderated) at the coast.
Tristan De Cunha looks like a place that's perfect for humans, albeit a bit dreary. I agree that Vigo looks good, the locations in northern Spain that see an influence from the Atlantic are perfect, like Santiago de Compostela. Somewhere like Auckland would be great or even Hobart in Tasmania would suffice for this. Auckland now that I think of it looks ideal in my mind for this criteria. I wouldn't say anything tropical is ideal...

Vigo is too wet and cool. It's just a slightly warmer and drier London.

Well, in the 20th century records their temps didn't plummet below freezing.
Who knows what was the absolute record low there, starting from 200K BC, when we first evolved? There have always been cold epochs in the world's time period.
I do agree that they were the perfect places for human evolution. Now I'm wondering, would they have been warmer or cooler back then?
