Actually, I'm quite annoyed that nowhere in Canada is like SC or NC in summer.

Summer to me "must" feel tropical, but a little hotter will do too.
see that's the problem: you went late AUGUST, instead of late JULY. in late august the humidity already starts to go down even if it remains hot, if you come to in Mid-July/Late July it might change your opinion

No wonder you love it when it doesn't even last two months. Lowest high forecasted for the next week, 86...ugh, and the coldest low is 67 This is so ridiculous, instant summer started May 16th!!! 3-4 months left too.
Honestly, I'd rather have this heat than be stuck in nine inches of snow.....three months out of the year!

85 humid but bearable degrees at 10:15. The heat is on....the Weather Channel is calling for 102 degrees Saturday...I love this heat we've had over the past year, but I'm actually hoping for a tropical storm or depression to dump a lot of rain on us sometime this summer.

Not to mention you never get stuck in the snow down where case is in DFW. Ok, northern DFW got like 10 inches in one storm last year, but that's very rare.

WE had a heavy rain late this afternoon and it definitely cooled things off. The Hills had some major hail and Danny even posted a pic of it in the SD pic thread.

It was down to 63 degrees for a while, but it's warming up and it's 66. There is a chilly wind though. But hey, it's somewhat warm so I am happy.
