LOL June-August anything below 70 is considered "Record Cold" here.
Our average lows then are in the mid 70s.
our average lows here are: 64 in June, 68 in July, and 66 in August, anything below 55 is considered record cold here in July, it's not unusual to have a low in the lower 50s in early June here
It's so hard to go to sleep at night when it doesn't even cool off from the high. The high was only like 3* warmer. I understand 64* is not hot, but it's uncomfortable with no change between high and low temps.

Our average lows in the summer are in the low 80's...and that is usually for about 2 minutes at sunrise...it's usually over 90 when I go to bed and over 90 when I wake up.
It's awesome.

oh yea, i know what you mean, when i lived in south FL in the summer the high would be like 90 and the low somewhere between 85-87, that's not exactly the best sleeping weather!!!
which is why i LOVE those days we have here in winter when the high is like 45 and the low somewhere around 15, because that's just perfect to sleep in, IMO.
dang, that's too hot!!! on an average year, we only have like 4 or 5 days that dosen't get below 70.
Away from the pavement maybe You can't tell me the city of Atlanta goes below 70 every night except maybe 4 or 5 times. I'd wager in the city the low drops below 70 maybe 4 or 5 nights each month in June, July and August.

you have to remember i don't live in ATL, i live SE of ATL in a semi-rural area. Atlanta rarely drops below 65 from Mid-June-Early September, while here it's not unsual to have several nights below 60 in June or Early July. I've seen morning temps in Atlanta in August above 80 while here we are usually right in the upper 60's
It's a beautiful 63 degrees this morning. We ended up hitting 79 yesterday which surprised me since the forecasted high was 70. Generally, they're a bit closer in their predictions here.
We ended up having a strong thunderstorm last night. Had to shut my computer down.
It's Election Day for us so I'm heading out to vote.
