Oh, I'd love to have the boring weather of San Diego.

It's been hanging around 63 this afternoon and we've had strong thunderstorms that started just before noon today. There have been reports of winds blowing at 103 mph and also 92 mph. Fortunately, it hasn't been anywhere near that right here. We have had a lot of thunder, lightening, and rain and we're in a flood warning. Our town itself is high enough that we'd have to have something Biblical to be flooded out. But the James River is just a couple miles away and it'll flood out the rural residents.

McGowdog, thanks for the pics. It looks very similar to the hail that fell in Rapid City last night.

That's a good question. 104 is a bit hotter then I like it, but we have had so few days of spring weather.

Heat index of 104 F (not 104 F straight-temp) IS moderation.

Hmmm.

That's not actually snow, just the remnants of a 6" hail storm. It's weird because it's like being in snow, but it feels warmer out here than it looks.

GREAT pics, it actually looks like snow, lol
