we are once again forecast to get either, light snow, light wintery mix or sleet for tomorrow. I tell ya, Feb can't get here quick enough.

OUr low for tomorrow morning is for 17 with wind chills of 11. wonderful.
We have no idea what to do. We have no basement since this is SoCal, I was born here, and both of my parents are from NY, so they have never been in one either. You're supposed to go into a closet with no walls touching outside or a bathroom right?

Right. Interior rooms with no windows are your best bet. And like you said~bathrooms are a good spot during tornadoes. This is just a guess, but since tornadoes are practically non-existent there, it may be just a small one like an EF-1?????

I hope you're safe and that you'll let us know how things turned out.

Oh thank God. The warning expires at 11. Yep, only 5 minutes left.

Yeah. It would probably either never touch the ground or be and F-1, but still, no one in CA is prepared for them so they could very deadly.

Now I'm concerned about floating away from all this non-stop rain for a whole week straight. At least it's not too cold when it rains.

Oh crap. My areas about to get hit with one area of red precipitation. It looks like a small spot according to TWC though.

The worst part is that the biggest storm won't come till Saturday!

I can hear the rain getting louder as I type.

I can't keep up with all these warnings.
  • Flash Flood Warning (which I think we'll have right now. I've never heard rain this hard)
  • Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory
  • Flash Flood Watch
  • Wind Advisory
I think my house is about to get washed away!!!

You guys better watch out in Dallas because these storms will probably turn into big snow storms by the time they get there.

I tried to take a video of the rain from inside my house. Don't know how well it'll turn out, but I'll try and post it later.

Just saw on the news that there was a water spout off the coast of Point Mugu Naval Base in Oxnard (which is in Ventura County, CA) then went ashore and destroyed the roof of a few buildings. Luckily, that is almost 40 miles from me, but the first one that triggered the warning was frighteningly close.
