Northern Maine we are sitting at 25 right now, never dropped below 20 last night, that is the first time in a LONG time it has stayed that warm overnight. To days high is projected to be 32 with the rest of the week-end being about the same.
Oh yea, even the local weather people here said today would be great It's way too hot to be outside for me today! And yes I am cranky
im pretty cranky as well, dont you think it's dumb that they consider a 90 degree day "great" to be out, but i bet you if it was 40 they would say it was "horrible" to be outside, even though the effects 90 degrees does is far worse than 40.
Oh man, what I would give your weather, ILNC. It's only 55* here WITH 40 MPH SUSTAINED WINDS!!!!!!! GUSTS ARE OVER 50 MPH!!!! By the way, this is at the beach. We never get winds like this. Currently, I believe we have the strongest winds in LA near LAX. All those wind warning are always for the valleys and deserts and canyons so I don't pay attention to them. However, today was outrageous. I've never seen sustained winds this strong. I just got back from playing tennis and my eyes are all ****ed up because all this **** from the pine trees and dirt was blowing into my eyes. Also, you guys know how big a tennis court is right? About? Well, I could hit the ball to the west side of the court and a gust came, it would land in the middle or on the east side of the court.
By tonight there's supposed to be rain and thunderstorms, so I hope this wind stops or else we might get tornadoes.
And dxiweodwo, did you get those bad tornadoes like in Atlanta?

we got on VERY small tornado here, probably F1, flipped over my garbage cans and my rocking chairs flew into my front yard. no damage to the house, thankfully.

At 40 F my fingers are purple and hurting badly in 10 minutes.
Even before my nerve disorder, in an hour I'd be shivering badly at 40 F.
At 90 F and less than 50% humidity, in an hour I might break a bead of sweat.
For most people, 90 F and low humidity is not a problem. Why do you think Jamaica and Mexico are so popular? They can hit 90 F in the winter yet the tourists don't complain.
Face it, for most people, 70's to at least mid-80's F is usually delightful, but you two happen to have some unusual genes that would make you much better suited to northern climates.

that's beacuse they are TOURISTS, and 80's by itself relly isnt that bad it's the HUMIDITY that makes it horrible, and anything over 90 is downright miserable with humidity.
