Lovely English weather eh. Plan an airshow for two days in July, and they will be the two worst weather wise, after millions of quid spent planning the event months before, lol.
I watched the first half of the english grand prix last night and it was funny seeing everyone in thick coats and umbrellas in July They said the air temp was 16C (and track temp 16C). YUCK!!!!!!! Many of our winter days are 16C! On the flip side however, I've seen 14C days here on Christmas and in February

At Melbourne's grand prix, it was 38ºC and I think the track temp was 50ºC. Take that Malaysia!

At midday it's an extremely hot 56F / 13.5C and overcast rain. Overnight low was 54F/12C.

DX, you're right. I would love that.

ILNC, most people don't know that it can get extremely hot here. Since we can have such cold winters, you'd think we have very mild summers. But our hot days are sporadic and they only last for a few months.

We had tornado warnings this afternoon and we lucked out~just a drenching rain. It cooled everything off. It's now down to 73 degrees, AC is now turned off. Last night was the first night we left it on since last summer.

Well yes another hideous "summer" day today, failed even to reach 60*, just 59 max temperature, was 12.8c (54f) at mid day. Thundery showers, wind, more heavy showers, all in all, a craptacular day. It's so crap it's funny. During yesterday's storm a swan was sitting in the middle of a large puddle in the middle of a road... lol

Further south, a bit warmer, big thunderstorms plastering all of SE England, unsettled weather likely to stick around for the next 2 weeks at least.
